Therese M. Brown

A Memorial Mass for Therese M. Brown, 59, of Lake Zurich since 1993, will be said Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  The Interment will be private.

Therese “Terri” was born July 9, 1961 in Chicago, and passed away December 25, 2020 in Barrington.

She was the beloved wife of James P. Brown; loving mother of Lindsey (Brett) Mathisen, Jaclyn (Peter) Mullins, Monica (Nicholas) Hill and Jeremy Brown; loving grandmother of Brock and Skylar Mathisen and Finn Mullins; dear daughter of Clayton and Marie (nee Dentamaro) Berrigan; fond sister of Judy (Tom) Hund, Kathy (John) Van der Meulen and the late Patrick (Laura) Berrigan.

Terri was creative with everything she touched from crafts and sewing to cooking for everybody.  She had such talent when it came to furniture, design, and decorating.  Terri loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.  She was always ready to host a party to celebrate even the smallest of events; her attention to detail could truly make anybody feel special.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to JourneyCare Foundation (Hospice), where Terri was well taken care of by the nurses and staff.  https://journeycare.org/donate/
