Thomas E. Sheahen

Visitation for Thomas E. Sheahen, 92, of Kildeer, will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Prayers will begin at 10:30 AM, Thursday, September 22, 2022, also at the Funeral Home and process to St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  The Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, Palatine.

Thomas was born on August 5, 1930 to Earl and Myrtle Sheahen.  He passed away at home on Friday, September 16, 2022.

Thomas, a lover of the outdoors and his Irish Heritage is a proud veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War. He had a deep love for his wife and family.

Thomas was the beloved husband of Carol Sheahen for 69 years; loving father of: Tom (Laura) Sheahen, Jr.; Mike (Julie) Sheahen, Dave (Kathie) Sheahen, Sue (Steve) Rouse, and Tim (Jess Zukin) Sheahen; dear grandfather of: Ryan, Dan, Kelly, TJ, Cory, Brett, Mandy, Allie, Madeline, Nate, Ciara, and Conor; fond great-grandfather of: Avery, Claire, Landon, Isla, Riley, Kelton, Cashton, Rohnan, and Ember. He is also survived by his brother, Roy (Bunny) Sheahen.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Sheahen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or American Legion Post #964, Lake Zurich.
