Thomas F. Welsch

The Memorial Mass for Mr. Thomas F. Welsch, 82 a 42 year resident of Hoffman Estates, will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015, 11:30AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton Street in Palatine.  The Interment will be private.

Thomas was born on October 12, 1932 in Wausau, WI the son of the late Frank and Gertrude (nee Schill) Welsch and passed away on February 11, 2015.

Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  He was the owner of Tom Welsch and Associates which specialized in the sales of recycling equipment. Some passions of his include, his love of sports car racing where served for many years as an observer at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin and was proud that this would have been his 50^th year as a season ticket holder to the Indianapolis 500.  He was also a football enthusiast with great loyalty to the Green Bay Packers as well as an excellent golfer.

Thomas was the beloved husband of 42 years of Maria (nee Maglio) Welsch; loving father of Chris (Rob) Kluzek and Natalie Welsch; cherished grandfather of Brandon and Griffin Kluzek; dear brother of Judy (late John) Magnus; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials, in memory of Tom, would be appreciated for Journeycare Hospice, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010.
