A Memorial Visitation for Thomas James Kaider, 41, of Palatine, will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 2:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. The Interment will be private.
Tommy was born July 7, 1976 in Des Plaines and passed away Friday, April 20, 2018.
Survivors include his parents, Patty (William) Werber (nee Quinn) and Thomas C. Kaider; brother, George (Rebekah) Kaider; step-sister, Susan (Todd) Halford; step-brothers, Michael Werber and Tim Werber, nephews, Jake, Christian and Sam Kaider and Nicky and Johnny Halford; godmother, Pola Damian; godfather, James Quinn; and also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Tommy was a lifelong resident of Palatine; graduate of Palatine High School and Roosevelt University, Schaumburg, with honors. Tommy touched the lives of hundreds of young men coaching youth and high school football. His career has been in property management. In addition, he was elected Palatine Township Highway Commissioner in 2013.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to the Tommy Kaider Memorial Scholarship Fund for a Palatine High School student, c/o Patty Werber, 12863 Farm Hill Drive, Huntley, IL 60142.
Tommy was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.
