Thomas Joseph Parchim

Visitation for Thomas Joseph Parchim, 71, of Huntley formerly of Hoffman Estates and Chicago, will be held from 3:00PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 8:00PM on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy. Palatine.  The Interment will be private. A Memorial Service will also be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 2:00PM at the First Congregational Church of Huntley, 11628 E. Main Street, Huntley, IL.

Thomas was born on June 23, 1943 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Joseph P. and Ann (nee Starczyk) Parchim.  He passed away at home on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Tom is the beloved husband of Mary Ann G. (nee Raustis) Parchim; his loving children Susan (Mark) Kinsman, Raymond Parchim, Rose (Clint) Porter, Ann (Mark) Bassett, Lisa (Micah) Taylor and Keith (Eva) Buenzow; his cherished grandchildren Sarah and Matthew McDonnell, Kayla and Marissa Parchim, Elisa and Christian Marlin, Jeffrey Teipe, Travis Porter, Micholas and Taylor Bassett, Emmit and Scarlet Taylor, Ethan and Emily Buenzow;  great grandson Jesse Driggers; brother in law of  Cindy and Margo Parchim.  He is preceded in death by his brothers Norman and Dennis Parchim. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Tom, would be appreciated for the First Congregational Church of Huntley, PO Box 98, Huntley, IL 60142 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
