Thomas S. Witte Jr.

Visitation for Thomas S. Witte Jr., 60, of Lake Zurich, will be on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Family and Friends will meet directly at St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich on Monday, December 30, 2024 for the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. The Interment will follow Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. A luncheon to follow at Davanti Enoteca 800 Hill Grove in Western Springs.

Thomas was born on August 1, 1964, at Beloit Memorial Hospital to Thomas S. Witte Sr. and Melody Reed-Summers. He passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

Tom attended school at Todd Elementary, Roosevelt Junior High, Aldrich Junior High, & Beloit Memorial High School & graduated National Honor Society in 1982. Tom studied business at UW-Whitewater & graduated Summa Cum Laud in 1986. Tom played in the band in junior high & high school. He played the sousaphone in the marching band & guitar in the jazz band. His love of music continued throughout his life. With garage/basement bands with his buddies. Bands in churches and other groups throughout the years. Tom started his career in finance with Household Bank/Finance & stayed on with HSBC. Tom also worked for Sears Holdings & most recently at Allstate. Anyone who had the pleasure of Tom’s friendship will tell you they were better having known him.

Thomas is the beloved husband of Karla Maria Witte for 16 years; loving father of Grace Emilina Witte; cherished son of Thomas S. Witte, Sr. and Melody Reed-Summers & dear brother of Todd Matthew (Lesa)Witte.
