Ursula Pontello

With tremendous sadness, we report the passing of Ursula Pontello, 97, in Lincolnshire, IL, on July 20, 2018.

Formerly of Beverly Hills, MI, she was the beloved wife of the late Albert Pontello, Sr. Dearest mother of Constance Heitmeyer (Richard), Marguerite Beckman (Eric), Robert Pontello (Leslie), and the late Albert Pontello, Jr. Loving Nonna of Carolyn Heitmeyer and Dana Weiss; Tarl, Ken, Nathan, Jennifer, and Elena Beckman; and Lauren and Lindsay Pontello. Great grandmother of Liam, Logan, Hannah, Caitlin, and Emily. Sister of the late Frances McKee and aunt to Kathleen McCann and Mary DiStefano. Ursula was passionate about her family, food and cooking, and Italy. Her love of life, optimism, cheery disposition, and generosity will be missed enormously by all who knew her. Her unconditional love and support was of enormous importance to her four children. Ursula’s family will celebrate her life in September in the Detroit area. More details will follow at a later date.
