Vernon L. Frost

A Memorial Visitation for Vernon L. Frost, 81, a lifelong resident of Palatine, will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 12:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL 60067.  The private Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Palatine.

Vernon was born August 22, 1936 in Elgin, and passed away September 14, 2017 at home, in Palatine, surrounded by his family.

Survivors include his daughter, Janet (Werner) Kaufmann; son, James (Jerome Pohlen) Frost; grandchildren, Valerie Kaufmann and Christopher Kaufmann; sisters, Grace (late Ray) Hogaboom and Alice (Dick) Montgomery.

Vernon was preceded in death by his wife, Carol A. Frost (nee Bentsen); father, Louis Frost; mother, Mildred (late stepfather William) Weide (nee Heine); and sister, Bernice Dalby.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to JourneyCare Hospice Foundation, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010, or to the charity of one’s choice.
