Vicente A. Uvero

Visitation for Vicente A. Uvero, 63, of Lake Zurich, will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home in Lake Zurich.

Vicente was born in Manila, Philippines on April 4, 1953 and passed away on November 7, 2016 at his home in Lake Zurich.  Vicente migrated from the Philippines to the United States in 1980.  He first lived in Chicago, IL and eventually settled in Lake Zurich, IL in 1986.

He worked for Bell & Howell from 1987 to 2005, Ohio Medical Corporation from 2005 to 2009 and finally for Glenair Microway Systems, Inc. from 2009 to 2012.

He enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to and playing jazz, classical and rock music.

Vicente is the beloved husband of Jessica Alma (nee Tanedo); loving father of Elliot Andrew Uvero; dear son of the late Eleuterio and Josefina (nee Alegre) Uvero; dear brother of Andy (Donna) Uvero, Beth Subijano, Joel (Jeanette) Uvero; fond uncle of Ritchie, Joy, and Arby Uvero, and Eric and Leah Subijano, and Chantelle and Curtis Uvero.
