Walter W. Halatek Iii

A Memorial Visitation for Walter W. Halatek III, 67, of Palatine for 36 years, formerly of Canfield, Ohio, will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Avenue, Arlington Heights. The Interment will be private. The Reverend Judy Hockenberry will officiate.

Walter was born April 26, 1951 in Canfield, Ohio, and passed away November 7, 2018 at home, in Palatine.

Walter was the beloved husband of Mary C. Halatek (nee Hammitt); dear son of Dorothy Halatek and the late Walter W. Halatek Jr.; fond brother of Becky (Andy) Steidel; loving uncle of Lauren (Alan) McPeek and loving great-uncle of Maddy McPeek.

Walt was active at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights as an elder and choir member. He was past president of the Pepper Tree Homeowner’s Association and was a Mason. Walt retired from the Executive Recruitment Industry and prior to that was in the Stainless Steel Industry.
