Wayne G. Smith

Visitation for Wayne G. Smith, 89, of Palatine, will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, 9:30 AM followed by a procession to St. Thomas Catholic Church for the Funeral Mass at 10:00AM. The Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.

Wayne was born July 4. 1929 in Chicago, IL, and passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 in Park Ridge Illinois.

Beloved husband  of Dorothy L. (nee Krohn); loving father of Sharon (Michael) Huntenburg, Kathy (Kevin) Gallagher, Stewart (Michelle) Smith and Steven (Jennifer) Smith; loving grandfather of  Michele, Kathryn, Steven, Brendan, Nicholas, Devin, Brittany, Briana, Hayly and Dylan; loving great grandfather of 4, brother of Charlyn (Herb) Hetzel.
