William A. Blaker

Visitation for William A. Blaker, 79, of Palatine since 2006, will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The Interment will immediately follow at Saint Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine, with military honors.

William was born August 19, 1941 in Batavia, New York, and passed away December 3, 2020 at home in Palatine, surrounded by his family.  He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

William is the beloved husband of Pamela K. Blaker (nee White); loving father of Matthew (Carolyn) Blaker and Tamara (Glen) Cwik; loving grandfather of Ryan, Breeanna and Jake Cwik; dear son of the late Eleanore M. (nee Blaker) Grumm; fond brother of Emily (Robert) Houck, Dorothy (late Peter) Gartner, Ralph Grumm and the late Edward Grumm. William was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is much loved and will always be in our hearts. He was thoughtful and kind and will be missed by many.
