William C. Warr

William C. “Bill” Warr, requested, Funeral Services not be held.  A celebration of life will be held in Bill’s honor at a later date.

Bill is a long-time resident of Palatine IL.  He died unexpectedly on February 9, 2018 at the age of 61 while clearing a heavy snowfall.

Beloved husband of Mary for 27 years, Bill is survived by his parents William W Warr and Tina Warr; his son Garret (Lauren Labrecque) whom he shared with former wife Penny Simonds; grandson Nikola Warr, his siblings Deborah (Rich) Armstrong, David Warr and Cheryl (Wayne) Scott; sisters-in-law Nancy (Paul) Lepinski, Pat (Barry) Rorex, Penny Simonds, brother-in-law David Gibson, mother-in-law Delores Gibson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vincent James DiMarco, Kunchetta “Kay” DiMarco, Charles Baker Warr and Virginia Campbell Warr.

Bill had a great sense of humor, was a friend to many, an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and loved a good pint of Guinness.  We will think of him every time we hear a Patsy Cline song.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his beloved dogs, Butch and Sundance, and Lily.
