William Diehl Iv

Visitation for William Diehl IV, 23, of North Barrington, will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich.  A Funeral Mass will be said, 10:00 AM on Friday, July 21, 2017 also at the church.  An Entombment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Born on December 21, 1993 in Park Ridge, IL, he passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017.

Billy is a Lake Zurich High School graduate.  He attended Carthage College in Kenosha, WI, where he obtained a Liberal Arts Degree with a Major in History.  Billy was the most dedicated and fun-spirited Carthage College Red Men Volleyball fan.  His loving family and many friends were his pride and joy.  Billy’s bright smile along with his kind and gentle spirit will be greatly missed.

Billy is survived by his parents, William III and Joanne (nee Blasco) Diehl; siblings, Nicholas & Robert; uncles Dominic (Teri) Blasco, the late Norman (Susan) Blasco; aunts, the late Angelica  (Ken) Ludvigsen, Annamarie Dwyer, Marilyn (the late John) Malec, Theresa (Gary) Capra, Mary Diehl, Anne (Bob) Luhr, Cathy (Larry) Page, and Jean (Bob) Furniss; dog, Geno and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Jr. (Charlotte) & Elizabeth Diehl and maternal grandparents, Anthony & Rose Blasco.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
