William Wilwers

Visitation for William Wilwers, 80, of Palatine, will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 9:00AM until time of prayers, 10:30AM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Proceeding to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton Street, Palatine, for a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM.  The Entombment will be at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Bill was born September 25, 1934 in Evanston and died Saturday, November 15, 2014 in Arlington Heights.

Bill won an industrial arts award in 1952.   He graduated as an apprentice with the union in 1959 in Electronics. He was licensed by the Federal Communication Commission in 1959 and the owner of Wilmer’s Construction Company and Everything Electronics.   From there, Bill entered the Marine Corp and received a citation service.  He reached the rank of Corporal before leaving the Marines in 1961.  In 1969 he graduated from Devry University.

He is survived by his Grandson, Nicholas Wilwers.
