Winfield R. Littfin

A Memorial Visitation for Winfield R. Littfin, 87, of Lake Zurich (Forest Lake), for over 60 years, will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m., at the Lakeview Community Church, 24560 W. Indian Trail Road, North Barrington.  The Reverend Steve Harmantas will officiate.  The Interment was private.Winfield was born August 1, 1926 in Chicago, and he passed away February 3, 2014 at North   ChicagoV.A.Hospital. Winfield was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of the Lake Zurich American Legion Post 964. Winfield was the beloved husband of Miriam V. Littfin (nee Andrews); loving father of Sharon (Roger) Porter, Katherine (Dan) Self and Wendi Littfin; loving grandfather of Angela (Jack) Koval and Brent (Julia) Porter; loving great-grandfather of Jeremy Adamec and Riley Porter; dear son of the late Raymond and Edna (nee Larson) Littfin; fond brother of Robert (Evelyn) Littfin; and also survived by his best 4 legged friend, Star.  Memorials will be appreciated to Save-A-Pet Adoption Center, P.O.
