W.T. “Tom” Morris

Visitation for W.T. “Tom” Morris, 81, of Palatine since 1972, will be held Sunday, October 9, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The visitation will continue Monday, October 10, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass, 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Dr., Palatine.  The Interment will be private.

Tom was born November 24, 1934 in Chicago and he passed away at home, Thursday, October 6, 2016.

Tom spent his career at UPS, retiring in 1995.  The company man that he was, he would ask, “What can brown do for you?”

Beloved husband of the late Catherine (nee Gramling), loving father of five daughters, Patti (Bob) Newell, Jean Morris, Barbara Morris, Judy Morris, and Margery (John) Katalinich; and late son David; loving grandfather of Stephen, Ryan and Joel Newell, Clarice Rohan, Lily Morris, David Katalinich and Cate Morris; dear son of the late William and Aurelia (nee Goda) Morris.  Also surviving is his son Robert (Kim) and family.
