A lifelong Chicagoan, Pat was born and raised on the West Side of the City and was a member of the Resurrection Parish, where he and Maureen married. He raised his family in the Northwest Side of the city, as a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish. In his early adult years, Pat was in the Combat Engineer Unit with the Illinois National Guard and became a member of the Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band, where he continued for a fun filled 56 years.
Patrick retired as a pipefitter with Local 597, and was a long-time contributor for the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The family has fond memories of spending over 40 years at Woodhaven Lakes. Pat lived the past 17 years in Palatine, IL., where he was a member of the St. Thomas of Villanova Parish.
Pat is survived by his wife of 57 years Maureen; children Marita (Martin) Maude, Noreen (Jim) Michael, Patrick III (Kris) Driscoll, and Michael (Julie) Driscoll; grandchildren William, Patrick IV, Maura, McKenzie, Ryan, Kieran, Emmett, Delaney and Kate.
He is preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Elizabeth (Bess)Driscoll; sisters Betty Ann Barry and Mary Therese Taylor.
